If you didn’t know, I just returned home from last week’s blogging conference which is like a glorified girl’s weekend with my blog friends who live all over the country. And I miss them already! But I was inspired to put together this Bubble Bath Bash spa party which is perfect for a girl’s getaway weekend, a ladies night, a Galentine’s Day party, or a bridal shower! Plus it’s perfect for a winter party when the winter elements are harsh on your skin. I’ve been fighting chapped lips and dry skin for the past week, but that’s all going to change with this party. You can set up this party for more of a bridal shower look with whites and creams and touches of blush including cream colored loofahs, white and gold balloons, and bits of pink here and there in the cupcakes, napkins, glasses, plates, etc. It will appear as if you’re inside a bubble bath! Or for a Galentine’s Spa Day or if you’re simply hosting a ladies spa night, then go with the color! Colorful loofahs, rubber duckies, bright and fun! You always need to give guests something to do, so this party is set up with a Build Your Own Bath Salts station with little jars and loose leaf herbs, salts, powdered milk, and soap flower petals. Ladies can mix and match the items to build their favorite bath salt mix of soothing scents for a relaxing soak. They can make one for themselves as well as one for gifting, so I put out some twine, scissors, and gift tags next to the station. The Bubble Bath Bash is also set up with a manicure bar with everything the girls could need to give themselves a bright and colorful manicure. If you can afford to hire a manicurist or two for the party, it would definitely add some pampering and glamour, but if not, nail polishes, nail files, and lotion will do just fine! I set out a trio of Jergens Wet Skin Moisturizers in the Green Tea Oil, Coconut Oil, and Monoi Oil scents for ladies to use during their manicures. The moisturizers are great for wet skin application because it instantly locks in moisture on wet skin and there is no need to rinse, simply pat dry.
I also set up some gift bags for the ladies to take home with them. Inside, the girls will find everything they might need to create a relaxing spa night at home including Jergens Wet Skin Moisturizers, bubble bath, nail files, manicure kit, nail polishes, rubber duckies, an eye mask, and loofahs. And a party wouldn’t be a party without some food and drinks so I made fizzy grapefruit mojito mocktails and (purchased) mini cupcakes and topped with with cute licorice candies. You can find the recipe for the fizzy grapefruit mojito mocktail right here. I also set out little paper cups of popcorn. And last, but not least, is the party decor which is super, super easy with hanging loofah garlands. You could also add in some balloons (the bubbles) and flowers and you’d be all set! Is your winter skin in need of a spa night? Which Jergens Wet Skin Moisturizer scent will you use after your bubble bath? Let me know in the comments! I’m loving the Monoi Oil!
