Today is my Father-in-Law’s birthday! Happy Birthday, Robert! Last year, he got me a silly birthday card of a photo from the ground perspective looking up at a bunch of lawn flamingos. The inside read “Why are they all looking at me like that and where are my clothes?” Ha! And so, I thought it might be fun to give him a good Flamingo Flocking this year! Happy Flocking Birthday with a Flamingo Flocking // Salty Canary Have you seen Flamingo Flockings on Pinterest? Generally they are done as a way to earn money for charity – you flock someone’s house with a bunch of lawn flamingos and they have to give you a donation to come out and remove them. But I thought it might be fun for a birthday, too! Most of the signs I saw on Pinterest were all hand drawn, which is fine, but I figured I would whip out my Cricut and make my sign! If you don’t want to use my flamingos, no worries, there are plenty of flamingo options in Cricut Design Space. Then you simply just need to figure out sizing of the letters and flamingos in Cricut Design Space to make sure they will fit on your board, then hit the “Make It” button and let the Cricut do its thing! Then you can use extra stakes to affix to the back of the sign, or hang it, and stick 30-50 flamingos in the lawn for a fun birthday joke! Happy Flocking Birthday with a Flamingo Flocking // Salty Canary Who will you flock? Happy Flocking Birthday with a Flamingo Flocking // Salty Canary
