After Emily and I visited the Remnants of the Past Vintage Show in San Luis Obispo, we stopped in Los Alamos on the way back to Los Angeles. Los Alamos is right off the 101 freeway and is such a cute little town with some great antique stores, a wacky hotel, and a fun hotel bar.
If you stay the night, you may want to stay at the Victorian Mansion which has various themed rooms including a 50’s themed suite, a french suite, and a pirate suite. The mister and I haven’t stayed here, so I can’t recommend it, but it looks cool!
Or there is the Union Hotel with it’s awesome bar:
Michael Jackson and Paul McCartney filmed their video for Say, Say, Say in Los Alamos and in one of the rooms of the Union Hotel.
After a drink, Emily and I visited a few of the antique stores in town.
We started at Gussied Up Antiques (where I purchased my sewing form mannequin last year).
Love this vintage wedding cake topper. If you’re looking for a vintage cake topper for your wedding, I have a few for sale here.
And then we walked next door to The Gentleman Farmer. I love all of her country, sporting, and equine treasures!
And then we drove down the street to the Los Alamos Antiques Depot which is HUGE!
How funny are these vintage chicken ranch whore house tokens?
