Cadbury Mini Eggs Milkshakes Recipe

These deliciously over-the-top Cadbury Mini Eggs Milkshakes are served in glasses decorated with chocolate frosting and chopped Cadbury Mini Eggs. Then vanilla milkshakes mixed with chopped Cadbury Mini Eggs are poured into each glass before being topped with a homemade swirl of whipped cream, more Cadbury Mini Eggs and an entire Cadbury Cream Egg on top!

It’s Cadbury Mini Eggs season! I think they’re best straight out of the bag while sitting in the car right outside of the store where you just bought them … but if you can use some restraint and wait, well, they’re also delicious in this Cadbury Mini Eggs Milkshakes Recipe! They are the perfect Easter dessert!

Cadbury Mini Eggs Milkshakes Recipe

I mean, of course I had to make Cadbury Mini Eggs Milkshakes! It’s like two of my favorite things combined into one!

The full printable recipe is below, but here’s a list of the needed ingredients.

Cadbury Mini Eggs Milkshake Ingredients:

  • Chocolate Frosting
  • Chopped Cadbury Mini Eggs
  • Vanilla Ice Cream
  • Milk
  • Chopped Cadbury Mini Eggs
  • Chocolate Syrup
  • Whipped Cream (I strongly recommend making homemade, see ingredients below)
  • Whole Cadbury Mini Eggs
  • Cadbury Cream Eggs

I recommend making homemade whipped cream because you can whip it stiffer to hold up better/longer which is especially nice if you’re assembling several milkshakes.

Whipped Cream Ingredients:

  • Heavy Whipping Cream
  • Granulated Sugar
  • Vanilla Extract

Recommended Kitchen Equipment:

I use my Ninja blender for all my milkshakes! I can’t say enough good things about this blender! It’s not super cheap so it won’t fall apart like some $20-30 brands (like Hamilton Beach), but it also doesn’t cost an arm and a leg like a Vitamix.

If you’re in need of a new blender, I definitely recommend this one. My only tip is that even though the pitcher says it’s dishwasher safe, be sure to hand wash it. Our first one cracked in the dishwasher, but our replacement pitcher has been going strong for 2-3 years now.

Cadbury Mini Eggs Milkshakes Recipe

Yield: 3

Ingredients

  • Milkshake:
  • 1/2 cup Chocolate Frosting
  • 3 cups Chopped Cadbury Mini Eggs, divided
  • 4 cups Vanilla Ice Cream
  • 1 1/4 cups Milk
  • Chocolate Syrup
  • Whipped Cream (I strongly recommend making homemade, see ingredients below)
  • 1/3 cup Whole Cadbury Mini Eggs
  • 3 Cadbury Cream Eggs
  • Whipped Cream:
  • 1 cup Heavy Whipping Cream
  • 1 Tbsp Granulated Sugar
  • 1 tsp Vanilla Extract

Instructions

    1. First, if you're making homemade whipped cream, start with that. In a stand mixer or using a hand mixer, combine your heavy whipping cream, granulated sugar, and vanilla extract and mix until stiff peaks form. Spoon whipped cream into a pastry bag outfitted with a star tip and set aside in the refrigerator.
    2. Next, coat the tops of your milkshake glasses with chocolate frosting and roll in 1 cup of chopped Mini Eggs. Place glasses upside down in the refrigerator to set.
    3. Cap skewer sticks with Cadbury Cream Eggs and set aside.
    4. Next, make your Mini Egg milkshake by combining vanilla ice cream, milk, and 2 cups of chopped Mini Eggs in your blender. Blend on high.
    5. Remove decorated glasses from the refrigerator, drizzle the insides with chocolate syrup, pour the finished milkshake, top with whipped cream and more Mini Eggs, and finish with a straw and a Cadbury Cream Egg on top (on a skewer stick).
