It’s Girl Scout Cookie season! If you haven’t devoured the entire box yet, I’ve got a couple hacks for you to elevate those cookies using ice cream, because the only thing better than cookies and milk is cookies and ice cream and if you’re eating the cookies straight out the box, then you’re eating them wrong! Were you in the Girl Scouts? I never was. I did something called Indian Princess Guides for like 2 minutes which was more of a father/daughter type group, but I feel like all we did for that was go canoeing/camping on the Colorado River and horseback riding/sledding in Big Bear. No cookies, no patches. I learned how to pee in a cold river without getting washed away and how NOT to ride a horse in the snow. Yeah. But at least I’m not sick of Girl Scout Cookies!
I’ve made a few different ice creams using Girl Scout Cookies, but this Lemonades Ice Cream is my favorite. And freakishly over-the-top milkshakes are even more fun when made with Girl Scout Cookies like this Thin Mint Milkshake!
And I’ve got 4 more Girl Scout Cookie Ice Cream Hacks for you over on Food Network, including Tagalong ice cream, Samoa milkshakes, ice cream sandwiches, and an ice cream pie!
I think I need a Girl Scout patch for making milkshakes that bring all the boys to the yard! What would your Girl Scout patch be for? Let me know in a comment below!
