The Mister has been complaining that I’ve been making too many fattening food recipes for the blog and since he’s my taste tester, I’m therefore making him fat. So I listened. Today I’m sharing something a bit healthier, and I say a bit because it has mayonnaise in it, so it’s not perfect, but baby steps people!!! I mean, it’s healthier because its served with vegetables! Yay vegetables!
And just so you know, the Mister LOVED this dip! I asked for a taste test before I photographed it and he kept asking me when it would be ready for him to eat. And he doesn’t even like wasabi!
- 1 cup mayo or plain greek yogurt
- 4 tsp. soy sauce
- 1.5 tsp. sugar
- 2 tsp. fresh lemon juice
- 2 tsp. wasabi paste
- Mix ingredients together.
- Garnish and serve.
And for all my friends who hate mayo, you can substitute with plain Greek yogurt, making it even healthier! Wohoo!
Let me know in the comments how you would serve this dip or if you would use it as a sauce on a dish.
