Woohoo! It's night #2 of #13NightsofDonuts! I'm kicking off Night #2 with some baked pumpkin donuts! These donuts would be perfect to make the night before going to the pumpkin patch or apple picking - especially if you made them using the itty-bitty mini donut pans! And they are SO moist! I know people hate the word moist ... I don't get it. Moist moist moist! I mean, really? It's a word that basically means your donut has a ton of pumpkin puree in it which makes it delicious!! Also, how good would these be with a cream cheese glaze?I baked the donuts in the oven and then after they cooled slightly, I brushed them with some melted butter before tossing them in a bag for a coating of cinnamon and sugar. My stomach literally just growled as I wrote that.
