White Chocolate Potato Chip Caramel Apple
  • 5 apples
  • 1 bag of Caramel Bits
  • 5 popsicle sticks
  • 1 bag of white chocolate (or candy melt if you want vanilla flavor)
  • 1 bag of your favorite potato chips
  1. Remove the wax from the apples using the 4 second dip into boiling water method.
  2. Insert your popsicle stick, place apples in refrigerator.
  3. Melt your Caramel Bits according to the instructions on the bag.
  4. Once melted, dip your apple into the caramel, making sure to dip up to and including the base of the stick.
  5. Scrape the bottom of the apple of excess caramel.
  6. Place on wax paper and allow to harden (refrigerate to speed up process).
  7. Once you've dipped all of your apples in the caramel sauce, melt your white chocolate using the microwave or double broiler method according the manufacturer's instructions.
  8. Prep your potato chips by laying them in a single layer on a flat surface such as a plate or cutting board.
  9. Dip your apple in white chocolate (all the way, or leaving some caramel visible) and immediately roll the apple in potato chips.
  10. Place on wax paper and return to the refrigerator to set.
