Apple Pie Caramel Apple
  • 5-6 apples
  • 5-6 popsicles sticks
  • pot of water
  • 2 tsp white vinegar
  • 1 package caramel bits
  • 2 pre-made pie crusts
  • 1 egg
  • 1.5 tsp cinnamon
  • 2 Tbsp finishing sugar
  • half a bag of white chocolate chips
  1. Start by washing the wax off your apples using boiling water with 2 tsp white vinegar.
  2. Then insert the sticks into the apples and put them into the refrigerator while baking the pie crust and heating the caramel.
  3. Bake the pie crust after giving it an egg white wash and dusting with cinnamon and finishing sugar mix.
  4. Melt the caramel according to manufacturer's instructions.
  5. When the pie crust is done, turn it upside down and break into pieces so the cinnamon sugar side is face down.
  6. Dip your apples into the caramel, allow excess caramel to drip off, scrape the bottom of excess caramel, and then roll the apple in the pie crust pieces.
  7. Set on wax paper to harden.
  8. Melt your white chocolate and put into a squeeze tube.
  9. Put your extra caramel into a squeeze tube.
  10. Be sure to use oven mitts when handling the squeeze tubes as the caramel and white chocolate are hot!
  11. Drizzle with extra caramel and finish with white chocolate.
  12. Enjoy!
