The Super Bowl is quickly approaching and if you’re looking for some party ideas I’ve got a fun recipe for you! I know pizza and nachos are a couple of the more popular Super Bowl party foods, so I decided to mash them together and make Pizza Nachos! Simply replace the base/crust of pizza with tortilla chips and load them up with mozzarella cheese and supreme pizza toppings such as pepperonis, olives, peppers, and mushrooms! This appetizer is super easy and quick to make which is great if you’re hosting friends and family for the game and want to spend more time in front of the TV than in the kitchen!
And if you’re NOT hosting a Super Bowl party, you can easily prep these pizza nachos on a baking sheet, cover with foil, then pop it in the oven and broil for a couple minutes when you arrive at the host’s house!
If you’re ready to make some Pizza Nachos, you’ll need a few ingredients. The full printable recipe is below.
Ingredients:
- Tortilla chips
- Mozzarella cheese
- Sliced olives
- Pepperonis
- Mushrooms
- Yellow bell pepper
- Green onions
- Tomato sauce
- Italian Seasoning or Garlic Powder, Dried Basil, Salt, Pepper, and Onion Salt
I served my Pizza Nachos with pizza sauce on the side for dipping. If you put it directly on the tortilla chips before adding the cheese, you’ll just get a soggy mess, but to maintain the authenticity of the Pizza Nachos, be sure to include it on the side!

But, if Pizza Nachos aren’t your thing, check out the recipe for my Chile Cheese Corndog Muffins! My friend Kelly made them for the Big Game last year and took them to a party and she said, “Omg YES! Everyone loved them. They were gone immediately. And super easy!”
Who are you rooting for on Sunday? I’m rooting for some good commercials. I’ve been a bit disappointed in them the last few years.
