Does anyone else have a bit of dislike for the month of August? I feel like it’s still summer, but fall is teasing us with the promise of back to school, pumpkin spice everything, and the holidays! I also dislike the month’s lack of holidays and themes, but it’s still summer, so let’s treat it as such, and there’s no better way to celebrate and cool off on hot summer day than with an Ice Cream Sundae or Root Beer Float! Plus, a last minute Ice Cream Sundae or Root Beer Float Social is super easy to pull together, I’m showing you how below!I simply styled my cute, little, lavender barcart with all of the ingredients for Ice Cream Sundaes and Root Beer Floats. I’ve got it set up near the kitchen so guests can grab their container of choice (bowl, waffle bowl, cone, or glass for a float), come get their ice cream, then add their toppings! For the sundaes, I included hot fudge, caramel sauce, whipped cream, sprinkles, and, of course, the cherry on top! And the root beer floats are too easy! Simply set out glasses, straws, and a pitcher of root beer! Like I said, I scooped the ice cream in the kitchen, and then let guests pour their own root beer! All in all, it’s a quick and easy ice cream social that doesn’t take much time to put-together and doesn’t break the bank. Decorations were easy with some prints I made from my own photos of the Museum of Ice Cream and ice cream cone photographs, plus a little honeycomb garland. Do you have a barcart?
