My stay at The Weekend House was sponsored; however all opinions are 100% mine alone.
Two weeks ago, my favorite blogger/entrepreneur girls and I got together for a girls get-away at The Weekend House in Palm Springs! It was four, hot, summer days spent around a pool with endless pina coladas, too many pool floats, bowls of chips and salsa, and sharing a lot of Boomarangs on Instagram!First of all, how amazing is this house? The Weekend House is a gorgeous, mid-century-styled home in Palm Springs featuring 4 rooms, 2 bathrooms, and an amazing pool! I love how each room has a different wallpaper and theme! You can choose between the Flamingo Room, the Cactus Room, the Banana Leaf Room, or the spacious Master Bedroom with it’s private bathroom. The Master bedroom still needs wallpaper, but will be finished later this year to complete the whimsical look of the house! I thought it was going to be a bit of a The Real World style mad dash with everyone trying to claim a bed, but we’re civilized ladies, and everyone was happy to have their own bed in their own room! With a fully stocked kitchen, outdoor grill, ping pong table, and bocce ball court, you never even need to leave the house unless you run out of chips and salsa! But then there is also the beautiful pool! Surrounded by a cabana, 4 lounge chairs, and umbrellas, you’ll probably just spend all day lounging and playing in the pool! When we arrived, the swan and angry duck pool floats were waiting for us, and we got to work inflating the rest of the pool floats! Then we spent the next 4 days floating in the pool! If you’re planning a visit to Palm Springs, especially with a larger group such as a Bachelorette Weekend or simply a large family vacation, I highly recommend booking a stay at The Weekend House. The price is more affordable than renting hotel rooms for a large group, plus with a fully stocked kitchen, you can stay in and cook breakfast, lunch, or dinner! The house is located near the Palm Springs International Airport, which I was a bit worried about due to the noise of planes, but really, the planes are few and far between and you barely notice them. To get downtown for dinner or shopping, it’s a quick drive or about a $9-15 Lyft.
The fridge is stocked with water, sunscreen is stocked during the summer months, the bathrooms are stocked with L’Occitane shampoo, conditioner, and body wash, and there is an air pump if you bring your own pool floats. I already mentioned the pool, ping pong table, and bocce ball court, but there are also two bikes if want to cruise around town, plenty of classic card games and board games, two large TVs with Netflix, Hulu, and HBO Now (can’t miss that Game of Thrones!) and a record player and plenty of records to listen to while prepping food in the kitchen.Want more information?
