How to Make Snowman Popcorn Treats for Holiday Party

Materials Needed
- Popcorn (plain or lightly salted)
- Clear curved treat bags
- Googly eyes
- Orange felt
- Scissors
- Blue pipe cleaners
- Hot glue gun (adult use only)

Step-by-Step Instructions
1. Make the Snowman “Body”
Scoop popcorn into the plastic bag and gently shape it into a round ball. Twist the bag tightly above the popcorn to hold its shape. You want it snug but not crushed – think fluffy snowball!
2. Add the Scarf
Cut a short piece of blue pipe cleaner and gently use it to close the baggie instead of a twist tie.

3. Add the Face
Cut tiny triangle shapes from the orange felt to create carrot noses.

Using a hot glue gun (handled by an adult), glue two googly eyes onto the front of the popcorn ball. Then glue a carrot nose just below the eyes.
Instant snowman personality!

Assembly Tips
- Assembly line style: Pre-cut felt noses and pipe cleaners to save time.
- Adult stations: Have an adult in charge of all hot-glue steps.
- Allergy-aware: Use plain popcorn and send home ingredient info if needed. We use Skinny Pop popcorn due to the many allergies and diabetic learners in my kids’ classes.
- Party favor ready: These make adorable take-home treats tied with a ribbon and tag.
