Waffle & Bacon Breakfast Milkshakes

What’s better than breakfast for breakfast? Dessert for breakfast! Or how about a combination of breakfast and dessert with these Waffle & Bacon Breakfast Milkshakes? It’s like one of those expensive all-you-can-eat buffets with the Belgian Waffle station, but in drink form as a maple milkshake topped with mini waffles, a slice of candied bacon, a glazed strawberry, and lots of whipped cream! Waffle Milkshakes // Salty Canary

Waffle & Bacon Breakfast Milkshakes

I’ve made a lot of milkshakes over the last few years and this one might be one of my absolute favorites! If you love waffles, you’ll love this milkshake! They would be perfect as breakfast or dessert for a slumber party!

Waffle Milkshakes // Salty Canary Start by making your candied bacon following your favorite candied bacon recipe. Set aside whole slices of candied bacon to stick into the milkshake as a garnish and then chop up the rest. Next, coat the top of your milkshake glasses with chocolate frosting and add your chopped candied bacon to the chocolate rim. Place the glasses into the freezer to harden. Next, make your milkshake by combining vanilla ice cream, milk, and maple syrup in your blender. Remove the glasses from the freezer, pour the milkshake, top with whipped cream, a strawberry, a slice of candied bacon, and miniature toasted waffles on a skewer.

I use my Ninja blender for all my milkshakes! I can’t say enough good things about the blender! It’s not super cheap, but it won’t fall apart like some $20-30 brands (looking at you, Hamilton Beach). It also doesn’t cost an arm and a leg (like a Vitamix.) If you’re in need of a new blender, I definitely recommend this one. My only tip is that even though the pitcher says it’s dishwasher safe, be sure to hand wash it. Our first one cracked in the dishwasher, but our replacement pitcher has been going strong for 3-4 years now.
