Hot Diggity Dog!

Hot Diggity Dog Party

This last weekend, the Lady (my Mom) and I hosted a Hot Dog Bar BBQ party! Emily and I made cake pops the night before, and the Mister was a good sport and wore his hat and apron for the night.

I just started using photoshop when I started this blog 2 months ago, so I was really proud of how my invitations turned out.

We set out ingredients for 4 different types of hot dogs: a Mac-N-Cheese Dog, Sissy Dog, Hawaiian Dog, and Reuben Dog:

It was BYOB, but I set up some rosemary-laced pink lemonade and guests could spike it with vodka:

The Mister approved:

And for dessert, Emily and I made hot dog themed cake pops, but the lesson we learned is that cake pops are not easily made in hot weather. Regardless, our little hot dogs, ketchups, and mustards were yummy!

PS: I purchased most of the party supplies at Target in their dollar spot (right). But I still needed cups and tableclothes, so I headed over to Party City (left), and wow is their rainbow aisle of party supplies a-maze-ing!!

Hope everyone has a fun and safe 4th of July tomorrow!
